How to view live AirXD data in Breathe

Breathe can record live data from up to 10 AirXD devices at any given time. It can record data from either a USB connection or via ethernet using the Modbus protocol.


The live data can be viewed in a tabular view, chart view and even a GIS map. Any alarms that are triggered during the live data capture can also be viewed. To learn more about this please read below.



Record Live Data

To record live data from the devices, please follow the steps below:


1. On the main menu click on the Live Data option and the following screen will be displayed:


2. To add a device to the live data logging, click on the Devices drop down box, select the device and then click on the Plus button. The device will then be added to the live data table as shown below:


3. Repeat the above step for each device that needs to record live data.


4. To start data logging click on the Actions button and click on the Start Logging button as shown below:


5. Breathe will then start to record live data from the devices as shown below:


6. By default the live data will display the instantaneous readings for the PM values but this can be changed to view the average readings. To change the view, click on the Actions button and select the different views on the menu as shown below:


7. To stop data logging click on the Actions button and click on the Stop Logging button as shown below:



Live Data Graph

The live data that is being recorded can be viewed in a graphical view. The graph view allows you to choose what PM sizes are displayed along with the past 10 readings being displayed on the graph.


To view the live data in the chart view please follow the steps below:


1. In the live readings table, click on the checkbox in the table heading to chart the devices PM values as shown below:


2. Then click on the Graph tab and the following screen will then be displayed:


3. The graph can be zoomed, panned and saved by clicking on the graph option buttons above the graph.



Live Data Location

When the live data is being recorded it is possible to see view the live data on a GIS map. To view the live data on a GIS map, please follow the steps below:


1. Click on the Location tab and the following screen will then be displayed:


2. Each live device will be represented on the GIS map as a map marker, if the device is in Alarm it will be coloured red otherwise the marker will be coloured green.


3. To view the latest reading of the device, just hover the mouse over the map marker and a tooltip will be displayed showing the latest readings.




Live Data Alarms

If at any time during the live data capture any devices go into alarm, it is possible to view the alarms by following the steps below:


1. Click on the Alarms tab and the following screen will be displayed.


2. The alarms can be filtered by clicking on the funnel icon on the column you wish to filter.        



Live Data Logs

During the live data capture, a log is kept showing the status of each live data request. To view the logs, please follow the steps below:


1. Click on the Logs tab and the following screen is displayed:
